In fact, the highest price paid for a second-generation Buick Regal in the past five years was for a 'last ever' Grand National, which sold in January 2022 for an incredible $550k USD ($841k AUD).

Since its release, 'GNX' has sold over 2 million copies, and in July 2025, Spotify reported an astonishing 454 million streams for that single month. However, as with all trends, there are signs of a potential decline. In the time it took to write this story, GNX prices hinted at a slight drop, with a modified car selling for $100k USD ($153k AUD) and an original example going for $154k USD ($236k AUD) at auction.
